How hot is your car when cold?
 

How hot is your car at first start up when the engine is 'cold' ? We are in the hottest part of summer here in northern India, air temperature today at startup was 46 degrees Centigrade! Must say that the 991.2 A/C works well....

Translated to degrees F....

Since mid winter (though probably much longer) I've noticed my oil temp is 3-4 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the air temp when starting up. It would be easy to blame the different sensors, but I'll credit some crazy Porsche thermodynamics for regulating engine warm ups.
