The Bose is great if you replace the garbage tweeters. I bought the tweeter upgrade (Esoterics with custom plates, hardware and upgraded OEM Burmester grilles) from Nick at Musicar NW and its a night and day difference vs the Bose system with stock tweeters.

I am very happy with the Bose in my 991.2. However, it’s all relative. One mans trash is another mans treasure😎

Bose is not much better than the base. It is not worth going aftermarket.

I had Bose in my 991.1 3.4 L cab. It was mediocre. I have Burmester in my 991.1 GTS cab. It is outstanding. I am a huge music fan, so sound quality is important to me. I am very glad that I splurged on the Burmester upgrade.
