If you're into any type of racing, you're going to regret not getting PDK(PDK is the best in the business). I'd tack on the sport package or at least add RWS.

Other than that it looks good. Nice and straight to the point. Focused on driving.

4 way seats save you at least 60 pounds. I have them and don' miss the 18 way seats. You may want to look into rear wheel steer and PDCC. Some will bash PDCC, but I will tell you, it is awesome!

if your car is a coupe and not a Targa or Cabriolet, you will already have SPASM, so consider front axle lift.

I think SPASM is standard on the GTS. I've heard good things about the regular seats, will I regret not upgrading?

What's the sports package? I'll look into the real axle steering again.

I agree that FAL is a must to prevent scrape carnage to the front spoiler. I also agree that 4 ways are just as comfortable as 18 ways. Once you get the seat the way you want it, who needs all those buttons anyway? I too am a big fan of PDCC. Some say it feels synthetic. I say it feels awesome. The car is just locked down on twisties - amazing engineering. Enjoy your new car!

I have a GTS and I have the 18 ways. I mainly got them because of the seat shape and fell in love with all the adjustments I could do.. However I find myself leaving them in the widest setting and I never touch the buttons.. Ever. If I were to spec my GTS again I'd go with the 4 ways(they look just like 18 ways) even though those two switches look plain jane.

Sport package is a package that includes (off the top of my head) Sport Chrono, Sport Exhaust, Rear Axle steer, GT sport steering wheel, Sport mirrors, and maybe more.

You should be able to get away with only adding on rear axle steer and GT sport wheel since the GTS comes with most of that stuff.

The options sure do add up.. If you're comfortable with it I'd add FAL.. I thought it was a gimmicky feature but I can honestly say it's a game changer.. The peace of mind is great. Makes for a stress free drive and I don't have to go over bumps and dips sideways.

So much is personal but RAS is one of those things that is not a compromise - it improves the car *everywhere*. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: RAS is the most bang-for-your-buck you’ll ever get from the Porsche options list. For the cost of having your air vents painted a different colour, you get better manoeuvrability at low speed, more agility in the corners and improved stability when you’re going fast.

If you’re getting a manual because that’s what you want, you’re used to one and you enjoy the interaction, then great. If it’s because you’ve heard that it’s the thing to have from car enthusiasts and journalists, then go and try a car with PDK. PDK with SC (which it will be on a GTS) is just on another level and IMHO suits the character of the GTS. It is truly telepathic in the way that it selects gears, to the point you have to experience it to believe it. The difference between Normal, Sport and Sport+ is huge and can be changed instantly from the steering wheel.

I have FAL on mine because there are some really aggressive traffic calming measures around where I live. The clearance isn’t actually that bad without FAL but if you spec it, the GTS will go pretty much anywhere you would take a “normal” car.

Whatever spec you go for, it’ll be brilliant, because all 911s are. I still get a huge grin after getting in and I've had mine for a year now.

Congrats. I came from an F82 ///M4 as well. The GTS is next level. I love it so much. I have the 18 way seats, and you cannot believe how comfortable you can get in a true sports car.

My 2 points.

Get RAS.
If daily driving get FAL. If weekend car do not get FAL. Keep the car light and simplified.
