I bought this, it doesn’t interfere with the sensors, as advertised, and I was very impressed with the construction, how sturdy, etc. highly reccomend.

^ I have rho-plate for my 991.2. It's an excellent piece of kit. I'm very happy with it.

I learned that you can simply apply some electrical tape or use the brown pads used under chair legs (.. to prevent floor scratching) to "blind" the sensor.

Then you can use any plate you wish.
