Default Rim sizing question 991.1S narrow

Hey all - I’ve searched on this topic but still am not clear (even asked the folks at Suncoast and was not given a definitive response): will 11.5 inch width rims fit on a “narrow” body 991S? I am using 11 inch width wheels now with 295s for tires. I’d LIKE to go
with 11.5s (for example, the Carrera Sport wheel) and 305s for tires. Is it possible to do so without adding anything else (like spacers?)? Would spacers help/hurt my cause (sorry, I’m not good with this stuff)? Thank you! -Dom

11.5 and 305 will fit narrow body. All in the offsets. Wide body has slightly more aggressive offset (to push wheel out a bit more) on same width wheel and exact same tire.

See Sport Technos for example. These have versions for narrow and wide body.

Excellent - thanks for the respones! So, based on that link the “ET” for the narrow body Sport techno is 68ET, while the wide body is 38ET - how do I figure out what my “range” would be for that measurement in a narrow body? Thanks again for the info... -Dom

It's 68 and 48

The 48 rear on a narrow body might be a bit too much??

I have HRE's with 56 rears on a narrow body and give it a nice flush look with 11" wide wheels and 295's.

Maybe someone else can chime in.

I’m looking at the Carrera sport classic - which I see sized at ET76 (Rear) and ET49 (Front) if I am following your logic then I would expect them to fit but LESS flush with the outside of the wheel well? Did I understand that right? Thanks again..

I run 19x11.5 ET61 E88s with 325/30/19.... The tire is extremely flush but does not rub.
