Walters Porsche in California - any feedback?
Considering buying a Porsche from Walters Porsche in Riverside, CA. Curious if anyone here has had any experience with them, and if so - positive, negative, otherwise? Looking for any feedback you can offer. Thanks!

You will have positive, negative, and otherwise with all of them. Sales are money not new best friends.

Had a good experience there with a new GT4—though both salesmen involved have moved on.
Still, I felt the whole experience was nicely choreographed. It felt easy and seamless...almost too easy—something that takes real thinking and planning.

I purchased my 991.1 from Walter’s 3+yrs ago. Traded in a Cayenne towards a 991.1. Was a good experience. They were prompt with our initial communications via email. Relatively quick & seamless purchase process. Worked with John Beech & Bob McDonald. Came across as reasonably nice & knowledgable people.

Never attempted a purchase there but I can say I called the service dept 2x and left a message (including my VIN # which the receptionist asked for) for a quote on PSE install on my 991.1 and never received a call back.

Last year I purchased a white CPO 2014 C4 PDK w/ low mileage at a great price. The deal took too long, but I did get my car. I was very happy in the end. Also I am in NorCal and never went into Walter’s. This was done over the phone, email, DocuSign and UPS. Hard copies (wet ink) are still required and that is what really took additional time. I would definitely do business with them again.

I've had communications to service departments at two different dealers go unanswered, as well. I think they are overwhelmed due to the sheer volume of Porsches being sold these days, and have come to accept that sometimes it takes a few calls. Last time I went in with my GT4, my service writer didn't even have a desk. He was super cool, but I got the sense he was working out of a storage area somewhere. I think the dealership—recently remodeled, too—was doing what it can to keep up in the Macan era.

i traded my cayman for a 911, experience when purchasing was great. Service though is terrible and they never call back. I would be weary of their CPO though, apparently my rear bumper was repainted and they did not disclose that.

Thanks all! Really appreciate the feedback here.
My experience: There was a major issue with the car I was looking at and they were up front about it. After some weird experiences with initial sales guys (blew me off, told me car was sold, just weird), the GM made it right by being honest. Props to them.
