I'm finally getting some seat time in my 991 and noticed minor squeaking when applying the brakes from a standstill (forward and reverse). Having successfully ridding a prior car (Audi S4) of this issue along with a little vibration when lightly applying the brakes I decided to give bedding in my brakes on the C2S. I headed out to a country back road and successfully heated up the brakes doing multiple 60 to 10 mph hard braking but interestingly, the brakes in this car didn't feel cooked after 10 quick and hard "stops" like the S4 did !! The squeak is now gone and I'm pleasantly impressed at the lack of fade - hopefully now that the weather will allow this car to be my DD, this little pesky issue is behind me.
