He actually didn't get the exact allocation, but it was one he could trade for what I wanted.
I think this is what happened for me. Dealer said they called in to regional and asked and they got it. Originally they were looking to trade but I think they were able to get it straight off for my choice.

In SoCal and not with an Automation dealer although I had one call me this week saying he just got 2 Turbo Cab allocations.

Those of you have received allocations how long were you in status v070?

how long between placing deposit at dealer and getting build date? Curious to see delay in various parts of country. And maybe get an idea how much longer I have to wait

Zero. My allocation came straight over with v200.

Same. The first status I ever saw was v200.

Mine is v200 a week after I placed a deposit.

Might want to verify your dealer is getting an allocation. If they have one coming they should be able to show it to you in the system unless they are getting an extra for some reason.

I called many dealers and only found 2 available rwd coupe GTS allocations, so they aren't easy to find in my experience.

My dealer already had an allocation and the car was V200 status when I placed my deposit. Delivery of car was exactly 8 weeks later.

Wow, did not know that ED delivery means no allocation required to come from the dealer's pool. Good to know. Is a dealer willing to typically discount more due to that?

Great question. I think the discount depends on the model's general demand and your relationship with the dealer more than the election of ED.

An important caveat about the "extra" allocations given for ED is that I understand they are only given for series cars, not for GT cars.

I don't think that this is always the case. My dealer had to trade for an existing allocation in order for me to sign up for ED.

GT car ED comes w/ extra allocation for regular 911.

I don't think this is the case unless I'm mistaken. For my ED last month I needed an allocation from the dealer, then just selected the option for Euro Delivery Zuffenhausen as part of my build. If you do ED, my understanding is that the dealer gets a bonus allocation in exchange for the $3000 it costs them to do the program for the client. Don't know what the allocation is if it's 1:1 for your exact model or not.

Any Houston folks getting allocations? I’m told by PNH that maybe Q4. Would love to hear if others have another view.
