Never, never again !!! Had a few (not Porsche), but decided that for that 5 minutes it looks great(if the paint is absolutely perfect with no marks, swirls etc.) it is not worth it. Maximum pain.

I had black, never back again, but this color is awesome. Its parked on the street, I wash it every 2 or 3 weeks and drive the crap out of it.

It really all depends on your level of OCD. If it bothers you at all when your car isnt clean.. dont get black. If you are ok with coming out and see your car pretty dirty almost all the time, you'll be fine.

Or, if you have a large enough of a staff that will wash your car for you on a regular basis, that also works.

But if you've never had a black car before, please know that the comments about black cars aren't really exaggerating. It will look stunning after a fresh wash/wax till about 5 min after when you will see every single swirl/dust speck show up.

Do it!!!

Black is stunning and gorgeous and awesome. Sure, you have to wash it sometimes, but it's worth the effort all day long.

I’ve had mine for almost 20 years, before I moved to FL. I love black, but I wouldn’t do it down here. My next one is a racing yellow, due In October. I think it’s gonna look great.

Why would you not have it in Florida? The rain?

The dealers seem to have a lot of black ones on their lots.
Seems to be popular despite the headaches.

Black and any silver looking color are easier to sell.

my last 8 cars have been black - without attempting to buy black cars at all. black is a great color and dirty black cars simply give you street cred!

No! It’s the searing sun. I covered up the best I could, but it bakes in the summer.

And I gotta be honest, in the brilliant FL sun, other colors pop better. I saw a black 458 Ferrari in Sarasota last weekend. It’s my favorite car, but not in FL.

Default never again

I'm also in the never again camp. They look great when detailed but the maintenance is a killer. I guess if it was brand new and had full PPF on it from day1 might be okay but I hated having swirled paint.
