Default 997 vs 991 back seat room in coupes ?

Would a 991 have more room in the back seat for a 5 ft tall person than a 997? Thank you

Sure if you don't have legs.

yes, quite a bit more room. The extra 4” of wheelbase is most noticeable here.

I know you’re trying to be funny, but you’re off base. The back seats are usable for kids. I’m 6’2” and my daughter sits behind me and she is 43” tall. My son is 5’1” and he sits behind my wife on the passenger side. She is 5’10” and pretty comfortable. He’s about out of room, but it still works. We just did a tour two weeks ago and we were in the car for about 8 hours. Granted we made 4 stops and there were some complaints, but hey, my kids complain about everything, lol

That's an amazing advert right there.

Depends on who's in the front seat. With a 5'8" person in the front, 5' person in the rear would be ok for a not very long trip.

the big center console takes up more room, so you have reduced the space more than previous years with no console, I guess that was their intention for putting it in there. There doesnt seem to be any other reason for it

Absolutely - I've gone on hour long trips with 2 5' people in the back without too much complaint in my 991

My wife (5' 4") and my daughter (5' 7") have shared the right side: one in front and one in back, for a few rides up to maybe 90 minutes. The claim some level of comfort, but are probably lying so I feel better.

Meanwhile, behind my driver seat (6' 2" with long legs for my height), I see about a 2 inch gap between the seat back and the back seat bottom. The only passenger happy there would be very short or legless.

I'm 6'4" so anyone behind me isn't big enough to go on any amusement park rides. Most cars end up being 3 seaters for me.

Believe they enlarged the center tunnel for potential hybrid.

You definitely sit far back. I'm also 6'2" and have about a 33" inseam. With the seat positioned for me to shift, I have about 4-5" between the bottom of the seat and the rear seat bulkhead.

Recently had my wife and another couple in my 991...cue the clown car meme. I'm 6'4", buddy is 6'4", wife is 5'10" and his wife is slightly shorter. Needless to say, the ladies were uncomfortable in the back for our 4 mile drive.
