We won a 911 Carrera T
Hi,
I may as well introduce myself on here as I hope to interact on here more often. My name is John. I live in Ireland. Last Tuesday morning my wife won a Porsche 911 Carrera T with BOTB.COM. Here is the YouTube video of us being surprised:
I am a big Porsche fan for many years. I used to own a 996 Carrera a few years ago and always wanted to get another Porsche someday. But this is just incredible.
We are looking at colours and specs of the car currently. So far red and white are the favourites. We have to be as light on the options as possible as the taxes we have to pay here are fairly high.
So far thinking manual, red, sports chrono, PCM with digital radio, rear parking sensors, back seats back in and that's about it really.

Thanks everybody. BOTB did say that they will more than likely do another video when we get the collection date.
On the Monday they had told me we won a VW Golf R and I was thrilled. They knew I only played for Porsche's week in, week out so told me a white lie so as to surprise me too. I had to keep it a secret from the wife all day Monday and managed to do so. If I knew we had won a 911 on the Monday I'd have never managed to keep it a secret from her. I had about 3 hours sleep that night with the excitement of winning a Golf R. I'd never have slept at all if I had known we were getting a Carrera T.

Very nice! I'm very happy for both of you... you seemed to really enjoy the win. And once you get some seat time in your car, I'm sure your smiles will be even bigger!
I have to imagine there are some wonderful roads for you to enjoy in Ireland, both at speed and just for sight seeing. I really hope to visit before too much longer... it's on my short list of places that I need to visit.
