iCarsoft POR II works on 991.2
I can confirm that the iCarsoft POR II works to reset service reminders on 991.2 models (at least 2017). My car has been prompting me to change the oil at each start-up and the Multifunction display showed 2 Service interval messages, one for the 20K service and another for the 10k/12 month oil change.
After my oil change, I plugged the POR II into the OBD socket. It connected with the car, and I selected the Diagnose option, and then toggled over to PORSCHE. Here's the rest of the sequence:
Oil Lamp Reset
Software Reset
Manual Select
911 (991)--then switch ignition on as requested
Oil service (note: other options include Intermediate maintenance, Intermediate maintenance and Oil service, Main maintenance, All service)
Enter today's date (in format year-month-day, so 20180417 for today)
Maintenance interval successfully reset (Yay!)
I turned the ignition off, and unplugged the POR II. The car no longer asks me to change the oil, and the 2nd Service Interval message is gone.
