991.2S Has Arrived
After what seems like quite a long search and acquisition my 991.2 is here (I actually picked it up 2 weeks from this coming Monday). The weather has not been great, so I have not had a good chance to detail her and get some pictures until today.
So far really enjoying the car. Even having a 991.1S with PSE, I love the way this car sounds. I do think the gearbox feels a bit improved here, and the thrust is immense without much perception of lag. The RAS is phenomenal! I loved this in the GT3 when I did the Porsche Experience in Atlanta and definitely a nice feature. I have not driven too much but will certainly add impressions as I do get more time behind the wheel. I will say, this car/color does seem to attract a lot of attention, even around here. One question for all of you. Should the wheels get powder coated satin black? I'll likely also add the Fabspeed Carbon tips but otherwise not much needed in my eyes. No one IMO gets it as close to 'right' as Porsche from the factory on any car.
Also, the 991.1S is no longer on the market either (decided to hold onto a bit longer).
Below are the specs:
Miami Blue
SPASM
7MT (was not easy finding a manual car in my search either)
LCA
Premium Package, 14 way seats with memory
Power steering plus
Heated seats
Sports Package (Sports Chrono, PSE, Rear axel steering, Sport Design sideview mirrors, GT steering wheel)
Bose
No sunroof
Also added my “what watch are you wearing today”?

Looks great. I'd leave the wheels silver.

Thanks!
Appreciate the suggestion as well. I am considering it as I like them in silver more than I thought I would. Black would be more continuous to the theme I have going...tint, and will be doing black rock guards and wrapping thew roof in black, but they do pop a little more in silver and seems like silver is more the exception than the rule for Miami Blue.

Thank you!
Thanks. Will do. Yes, love The Hulk. One of my favorite pieces, though I love all of my watches.
I am with you. The silver does look very nice.

I also just took delivery of my 2017 911 S about one week ago, and like you, I have been researching paint codes to change my wheel color to platinum satin. However, I am now thinking I like the silver since they brighten up the car. This is coming from a guy who just got rid of my z51 C7 with black wheels. I did have full paint correction, window tinting, Xpel and Opticoat Pro done 2 days ago. I did the same exact protection on my C7 upon delivery and I am a believer. You have a beautiful car!
