No Downshift with change to PDK Sports Steering Wheel
A friend gave me a used, but looks like new Sports Steering Wheel for my 991.1. I believe it is from a recent Cayman. My OE wheel is okay, but I prefer paddles like our other car.
I had my local indi shop install it and even after coding it, it would not downshift. Diagnosis: faulty downshift module. Dealer says it is no longer sold separately.
Does anyone know a source here in US of Europe?

Not a direct answer to your question, but I picked up an OE Alcantara Sports Steering Wheel from suncoast.com for my 991.1 for ~$5/600 when it was on sale, I guess most people like/buy the leather one and they needed to move inventory. If anything that may be an option if you can't find another module. Good luck

Try Sunset Porsche or Suncoast Porsche in the USA. Try Carnewal in Europe.
