Default Finally hit the 80,000 milestone.

Had a great turn out for the Porsche Club drive today in Nashville and achieved my next milestone of 80,000 miles right when I got home.

The drive organizers found a great little restaurant for lunch. It was very good.

Now time to do the 80K service.

Congrats on the milestone. How has everything held up? Brakes, fluid leaks, oil consumption, drivers seat?

Brakes and rotors are originals and look great. I have a slight lip on the outside but have a good bit of pad left. I might measure the thickness of the rotors today just to see how much life is left in them.

Zero fluid leaks

Zero noticeable oil consumption. I've been changing at 5K intervals.

Driver seat has held up really well. I do have some leather wear on the bolster but everything looks good even with my chubby butt getting in and out of the car.

Only part failure I've encountered are the change over valves...... had 3 changed out so far.

EDIT: I forgot my battery died a few months ago. So it lived a good life.

Amazing, that is why we buy these cars. Here is to the next 80k.

I've slowed up a bit on the miles so I'm guessing 18 months until 100K.

New job has me parking in a gravel/mud parking lot so I'm driving my 88 Scirocco w/203K on the ticker for my daily.

My dirty daily:

Car was born on 2/6/13. Original owner must have picked up on 3/17/13.

I purchased on 2/14/14 with only 2700 miles and my CPO warranty runs out on 3/17/19 or 100K.

Nice build! My 2013 C2S has 8,500 on the clock. I might die before I get to 80k!

Drive in in good health.

Thanks.

Living in the country outside of Nashville, TN where the back roads are fast and fun. I have no problem putting fun miles on the 911.

I bet! Sounds great.

I live in SF, so there are plenty of great roads, but you’ve definitely gotta time your drives. I’m out on the weekends

Holy ****! Is this all highway driving? I had to change my rotors at 29k on my boxster. Huge lip on them. No tracking either.

Quite a bit of highway, lots of miles on twisty back roads and one track day.

I think the PDK really helps.
