Next time you're out driving on a nice back road - give that Sport Chassis button a whirl...let me know what you think. I think you'll like it.

I fricken LOVE this car! I've called it the Swiss Army Knife of 911s. It's more and more of that to me everyday.

You know - I remember reading that, and I assumed by PSM Sport you were referring to disabling the traction control (hold the Sport Chassis button down for 5 sec).* One of my objectives of my PEC-ATL Master the Manual course in the Carrera T next month is to get a better understanding for how all of these systems interact in a safe environment with an instructor.* *

I love the description - Swiss Army Knife of 911s - that is the truth!

Nice car. Nice Pic. Take your time, it is freezing here in PDX. If you come by the Gorge - which is frozen - let me know I’ll get your twin out of storage!

Looks great, Cams!

Within 24 hours, my T has gone dirty - clean - dirty! The perils of driving around in a U.K. winter. Now on 13,193 miles.

Killer spec—nicely done! Only questions for you are 1) white gauge faces—you sure you want to do the last set of analog 911 gauges in something other than the traditional white on black?, 2) Alcantara bits + the gauges would pay for nose lift, which I have to say was wonderful even before I lowered my car—it just makes the car that much more usable that much more of the time...and I know how to angle with the best of 'em.

Minor feedback, offered respectfully. Something tells me you are going to be THRILLED with your T. Are you keeping the Spyder?

Thanks man! I'm heading up the coast to avoid the freeze. Overnight in Arcata, then up the coast to Newport and over to Portland tomorrow. I'm over 1000 miles 2 days into ownership - never done that before!

Thanks Pete - feedback welcome as I've battled between "what I'd really like" and "what would be good mods for resale (LWBS)". Interesting journey.

1) White gauges - originally I had them as black, with the Carrera T logo in white and they looked great but thought I'd lighten up the cabin just a smidge. The configurator for some reason does not show the RED seatbelts, but they're on the build.

2) Alcantara bits (steering wheel, shifter, and visors I like just for the look and feel of it, but that's a very personal thing. As for the Nose Lift, I just never thought it. The Spyder is very low and I've learned to work around it but good suggestion.

As for my Spyder, my plan is to keep it, but to explore some sort of "Fractional Ownership" arrangement with some other PCA members and split the cost of ownership. Possibly we'll throw some older A/C'd into the mix as well. Putting a call into the insurance agent. As we do not have TURO (another alternative in some areas) up here it's a path I'm exploring.
