Just posted to the waiting area thread, but she's here! Pickup is tomorrow and I'll post pics. There are a couple in the that post for now. She looks perfect (I stopped by for a quick peek this evening) and my only disappointment is that I didn't win the Michelin lottery and got P-Zeros. Oh well. They'll just be my break-in tires

Can't wait to go for my first drive!

Congrats Chris! I could not sleep the night before my pickup as well. I get it.

Don’t worry about the tires. I have the P Zero’s on my T and they handle and grip great. I have Michellens on my Turbo and they are great too.

Good luck tomorrow and enjoy you’re special collection day.

I can get one with Euro delivery in April, but full MSRP? Is full MSRP too much. There are a lot of T’s sitting on lots, but not many build slots and I want no options / maybe T interior and that is it.

Hoping to join the group soon. It will be my first Porsche.

Dealers like to stick to MSRP or close due to the deposit they have to front for ED. It's a lot, in case you decide to sell the car over there and not return with it. I'm sure there is wiggle room, but that is what I understand is the case. To build this car, the way you want it, it's worth it to me. But only you can decide if you need a discount. Good luck!

Not proud of it, but I only got 1% off. We've chatted...there just arent many builds left in the production run, the 992 came out and there was a sprint for 991.2s, and I decided I'd rather get exactly what I wanted vs close to what I wanted for a couple grand more (which isnt much when you consider the overall price of the car.) I've seen posts where folks got 8% off the lot, or 5% off an order, but that was back in May. We are late to the party and paying for it.

Originally when I was looking into a T build (Dec 2017) Euro delivery was not available so that is pretty special. There may not be much of a difference in price of a local delivery depending on the dealer. Some dealers are discounters, others are not...

Many congrats, Chris! I got mine delivered about a week ago and I absolutely love it. Sadly, I didn't' win the Michelin lottery either, but the P-Zeros aren't half bad. Looking forward to seeing some pictures! (I should really post some as well...)

You should feel proud of it -- you made the right decision and you didn't let a couple grand get in the way of you doing so.

I paid full pop for mine but got to factory order it to my exact spec so worth it in my opinion.

These T's are special cars and so long as you spec it with the T ethos in mind you'll have a gem on your hands.

European delivery actually costs the dealer something (~$3k??). So, in fact you are getting "some" discount.

Last I heard my dealer has an allocation and would discount with ED. PM me if you'd like me to connect you.

When you do ED the dealer gets another allocation as well.
