Just got my order in and confirmed. Completion first week of December (hope it pulls in). I went a little crazy as this is to be a long term car for me, but here is my build PKX1WUG5Wanted the Sport Design rear, but not the front, so I'll do that via Suncoast at a later date. She'll also get a tune at some point well after break-in so that the performance matches the braking power

I cannot wait, it's going to be a long 5-6 months, especially since I already traded my '12 R8 V10. No toys this fall - what will I do!?!?!?

As mentioned on the other thread, that’s a smart looking, high-end spec T.

Maybe talk nicely to your Porsche Centre and see if they might lend you a sports car for the odd day or two during your wait...

I am waiting to get a confirmation about my exact delivery date. My dealer only confirmed the original date of 09/07. The latest tracking I have shows the car shipped ( Exit Port Emden ) on July 9th. What is the normal time to get to San Diego from Emden ? I was thinking 4 weeks only and in that case I would expect to get a delivery by 15th of August and not 09/07 as the initial estimate said.

Curious to know what kind if any discounts folks are getting on their Ts. I'm close to pulling the trigger on one...

I just had my dealer confirm that my build has been locked in (but don’t yet have the factory build number - this is still to come). It’s a November build and will arrive early February. I am assuming this will be getting towards the end of the 991 builds as my (factory owned) dealer said it was their last Australian build slot. Or is it possible he meant for the 2018 calendar year?

I am GT Silver with ceramics, manual plus yellow interior goodies, but still on the fence with the seat choice (which I will need to now settle on). I have had 18 ways and LWB’s before and I like the LWB’s the most, but no rear seats is playing on my mind. It’s very unlikely I would ever use the rear seats as I have other cars for kids etc but I wonder would resale be a hit (or maybe it would be seen as rare as I have not seen LWB’s in an Aust T yet).

Has anyone got LWB’s with the full yellow interior?

The buckets and the 4 ways go with the ethos of the car the most. Im happy with the 4 ways, they seem to have more padding than the 18 ways due to the lack of motors. The only adjustment they are missing imo is to tilt the front of the seat up once the seat is in a higer position (it has a forward tilt by default). The thigh extension is useless imo with the manual since you need to operate the clutch.. unless you have really long legs. If i didnt have kids i would get the buckets as i dont find them uncomfortable and most of my driving is under 2 hrs. My 2 cents.

if money was no object I would have gotten the lwb but if that was the case I would have paid the extra 80k for the gt3 option that goes with lwbs.

Well, I did it, I put my deposit for supposedly the only 911T the dealer had available to build for 2019(I don't believe them..), I went through every option online over and over and I decided to keep it as simple as possible with only adding the LWBS and RWS as the main options. I debated back and forth on the LWBS, but after seeing and sitting in them at the dealer it was an easy decision to add them, I had no issues getting in and out and they looked and felt great!!

Thank you for all the post here,

I noticed on some of the forum members’ cars there a little square bump on strip above the rear grille, while some have nothing and are clean.

Is that an antena option or depend where you live?

thanks in advance.

it’s too agonizing. I check with my sa at key milestones. Build lock out, build complete, etc.

Instead spending the time focused on drives to do, pace I can do to break in engine, phoning around for mods (new pull straps, rear sport wing, Akrapovic Slip-on, stripping weight, etc, etc),... and work ofcourse.
