Thanks it took 3 weeks and multiple sets of chinese center caps and emblems to get it right. Couldnt live with the HRE caps (though they are nice)
Whipped up this center cap concoction for $25 (spent over double that in failure, lol).

I think the ff04 are 9’ wide vs 8.5 for the ff01 and ff15. So the ff04 are more flush in front if im not mistaken

^^^ Really nice. Congrats!
Am planning to change to Michelins when my Pirellis are due to be replaced.
Are those the standard T brakes?
Saw RUF wheels posted on here somewhere the other day and now can’t stop thinking about them!

Michelins all the way especially after the tune. No comparison. Those are in fact the stock “small” brakes, just turn a little grey after a while

Cheers!
And surprisingly, the Michelins are pretty close to the Pirellis in price. Bargain!

First oil change
Just dropped the T off at Porsche North Scottsdale for its first complimentary oil change. I was talking with the service advisor and asked about using 5W40 instead of 0W40 because of the heat here in AZ. He said they use Pennzoil 5W40 synthetic instead of Mobil 1. Said Porsche only has Mobil One plastered everywhere on the car because Mobil sponsors their racing team.
Of course, you could say the same about Penske (who owns the chain of dealerships). Their race team is sponsored by Pennzoil.
Thoughts?

Go for it. I use Liqui Moly 5W40 in mine.

Here is what the dealership put in for my first oil change (9 quarts of it!):
After doing some research on it, looks like it might be better than Mobil 1 especially in high heat situations.

Burning Brakes
Finally pulled the trigger on coating. Got Kenzo and picked it up yesterday. Looks phenomenal and silky smooth.

Finally fixed my Homelink problem
I could never figure out why my Homelink button would open the garage door when I arrived home, but it would not close the garage door when I left.
I remembered reading in another thread that LED bulbs in the opener could be the culprit. So, I finally got around to checking them and bingo LED. So, I swapped them out with old school incandescent bulbs and voilá, the Homelink button now closes the garage door with no problems.
So, for all my fellow Homelink sufferers, check the bulbs in your garage door opener!
