I love this place! I hadn't thought about that. Makes perfect sense, thanks.

FWIW I clocked 1000 miles and the car gets better as I get used to it, this is my first 911 and I like the rear-engine feel.
It is a unique driving experience.

And as seen in the video above (Janko), I wanted a 991.2 narrow-bodied 911 with a manual transmission, lightest spec possible.
992 manual might be great, but we already know the T is a great machine and I personally really connect with the narrow-body.

Agree with you on all points. Also my first 911 and love the narrow body.

Btw, for what it’s worth. A good detail/PPF shop will put that Porsche badge on perfectly. They use a stencil.
All the best!

Going to take off the "Carrera 911 T" at the same time and leave the P O R S C H E as is.

I know this is a little higher than would have been - if model delete was optioned at the factory.

Is this acceptable? To have P O R S C H E a little higher in the rear?

Thanks!
Siete-Speed: You may like this take on decal placement. Ordered from Vinyl Sport Classic.

Personally, and this is just me, I ordered mine like yours with the intention of removing the "Carrera T" and having the P O R S C H E perfectly lined up with the clear parts of the tail lights. To me, this looks more visually PERFECT.

Send a pic when you get the "Carrera T" off.

Yes, I may have to lower/center it.

I will post some pics, after removal.

I am Ok with it so far. Need to get it out in the natural light and get further back.

The factory location is better, IMO. Further down and more centered on the rear.

Looks good to me. I see how lowering it would make it center on the bumper. But I also see how centered with the lights is not a bad thing.

Yes - IMO the "eye trail" of the P O R S C H E lines up with the clear portions of the tail lights on either side. I like it!

I will get it outside and get a few more angles from a little ways away. It does line up with the lights, quite nicely.

I ordered mine with rear badge model delete. To my eye, the factory spacing is spot on.

If you need, the below images show the factory PORSCHE badging location when you order the car with model designation delete.

I however took mine all off completely, and went with a larger retro PORSCHE decal. Individual tastes.... ;-)

They both look good. For some reason the higher “porsche” looks more stock to me on a 911. On my macan i dropped it to the center.
