Default Panel in front of Sunroof....

Hi, I just noticed on my recently bought 16 GTS , while detailing, there are a bunch of while lines running horizontally along that whole front panel right in front of the sunroof. Tried all my products ,other then a buffer to get it out. Interestingly, you on see it in the right reflection of light ( very weird). So as **** as I am , I would like it out. I presuming your advice is to take it to a good detailed but you can’t even feel it. I believe a defect in paint....can this piece be replaced or repainted, or is opening Pandora’s box. Thanks guys for the advance adicve!!! Please let me apologize in advance for silly questions, but important to me and I truly love this car! cheers:

Very hard to say w/o seeing it. If it was mine I'd try to get it out with an orbital and a finishing polish. I regularly fix minor stuff like this on all my cars.

Isn’t that panel glass?

That’s a good question, but I think it is painted, so not glass. Secondly, the whole panel has these distinct white lines all the way across.

It seems to be acrylic, not aluminum or glass.

I'd say worse as it will scratch easier.

Took it to the dealer this morning and they said they have seen a few cars with this issue. Supposedly, it is from putting on plastic on the car before the paint is fully cured. They said they will do there best to take care of it....Guessing I am the first with this problem on this forum, but the Black color makes it stand out even more. Not sure if you could even see it with a light colored car.
