Default A/C Heat still comes on during start up

All my other settings save. Yet I can’t seem to save the Heat or A/C setting to off on start up. Yea I’ve save each individual seat memory and key with dash confirmation.

Like the radio, I don't think you can set heat to off. Temperature will save, but I don't think you can save to OFF.

Why? What’s Porsche reasoning for this?

Damn, this is still driving you nuts? There has to be a way available to disable this.

lol. Yes. Maybe if I wasn’t able to deactivate it on my 997.2 it wouldn’t bother me as much.

I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere it has to do with air circulation in the car, blowers have to remain on. At least that makes more sense as to not being able to turn off, as opposed to the radio, where there is no good or bad reason why that can't be turned off.

I read about this a long time ago. It is to ensure that the cabin has positive air pressure to prevent any carbon monoxide leaks under or behind the car from seeping in.
