Finally have a 911 in my garage ...
I've loved the iconic 911 for approx. 4 decades (for longer than I've had a drivers license) and after determining I couldn't order one and expect it to arrive until the fall if at all, I searched for a pre-owned C2 that included the few "must haves" (sport seats with ventilation, Bose and glass sunroof). Manual was initially on the list but I gave up trying to find one and rationalized PDK because a) it truly is amazing and b) I decided to keep my manual Boxster rather than trade it in. Sadly, Canada is such a small market that I couldn't find much to consider and with the current exchange rate, it made no sense to buy a US car at this time. Not surprisingly, I ended up with a very nicely optioned car that cost a little more than the lightly optioned new C2 I wanted. Car is CPO'd until April 2022 and after the couple of hour drive home yesterday, the odometer reads approx 19,000 kms (approx 12k miles). The car is in excellent condition other than a small blemish on one wheel likely from a rock chip. The delivery went very smoothly and the only negative thing about the experience was realized almost immediately after I started my drive home ... the tires were overinflated @ 36F and 46R. I ended up pulling over to let some air out of the rears to stop the terrible ride and noise the tires produced over some rough asphalt. That helped and now that I've had a chance to determine what the recommended comfort pressures are, I'll reduce the pressure further and see how that feels. The previous owner installed clear side markers, spent approx $4k on a total PPF along with window tinting so this thing is truly "turnkey". Of course I did try launch control and wonder how often I'll use it but smiled when I let go of the brake and experienced a slight sideways start likely due to cool temps. What an amazing ride and I can't wait to get some quality seat time in it when the weather warms up !
I have a couple questions that perhaps someone can answer to save me time digging:
1) Why does the the dash tire pressure indicator keep changing to bar from psi after every time I shut down and later restart the car? I know how to change it but it appears it reverts to bar every time.
2) I'd like to do a quick touch up of the chipped wheel but unsure of the correct colour ?(I didn't see it when the car was delivered as it can only be seen when the area is facing up otherwiseI would have asked the dealership)
Here are the build specs and of course a couple pics for those who wish to see them:

Excellent 911! Congrats.
The settings are being stored based on the key you use to unlock the car. It is currently resetting the memorized settings to the ones the prior owner set for that key.
After setting up the displays, seats, mirrors, temperatures, etc. the way you want them, just press the Set and Key buttons on the door (in sequence, you'll here a beep if you did it correctly). Then whenever you use that key those settings will be restored. You can also set button 1 or 2, but generally the "key" settings are the way to go.

Thx guys. Yes it is Carrara white. As soon as we have more than a few degrees above freezing, I’ll be out there driving it.
