That is strange. Mine was scheduled for production late March and delivery in May. It was produced mid March and delivery mid April now.

Did you get any unique options?

I think it means the 993 was perfect. That is how I interpret it.

The 991.2 should be the first one with TT's -twin turbos- and the S and GTS have even bigger TT's (bigger twin turbos).

I've seen this idea of newer models - be it 991.2 non GT-cars, 718 or Panamera - struggling to sell a few times now... yet if you look at it on a global scale that's not the case. Porsche recently released the 2017 annual report as reference. Looking at global figures 911 production and sales have been steady or increasing for the last five years. The 718 and Panamera, which some people touted as DOA, both showed good performance in 2017. There's been no massive decrease in production or sales for any of them. The North American market doesn't account for the majority of production and saw an increase in 911 sales also. GT cars certainly do not account for the majority of 911 production/sales. So either Porsche states false information in their annual reports - which I doubt - or this idea that they're halting production because there's no demand and cars don't sell in North America is wrong. If they are halting production it will be for different reasons.

Mine finished production around yesterday (v260 status). And won’t make it to me until June. SA doesn’t know why but doesn’t think there will be any further delays. I also got my VIN yesterday.

No unique options. I did get full leather - maybe that’s delaying it?

993 was the pinnacle. Anything after it has progressively gotten more bloated.

I also got full leather... That is a VERY expensive option, but in my opinion, very well worth it every cent! Looks superb!

Where are you located?

If you already got your VIN it is in v300 by now.

V310 enter the port.
V320 exits the port.

From my previous experience (including this recent T), it will be on a boat within 2 weeks max. Your dealer -and PCNA if you call and ask- will tell you that it will be at the port in about a month, and then another 3 weeks before it gets on a boat. OVERLY conservative dates. I called PCNA's customer service number nearly every day until I was told it was on a ship. I know now all the employees working there, haha.

And they all know me by now... perhaps even hate me for so many calls, but hey, it was fun keeping track of it.

It is ridiculously expensive but I had to have it as I’ve seen it on other models and love the deviated stitching everywhere!

What you’re saying here is making me feel a lot better but I’m wondering if there is a disconnect somewhere. The document my SA showed me says v260 on it ... so now I’m confused. I’m in Virginia. Would you mind sharing the PCNA number you were calling? I’m afraid I’m going to start doing the same thing!
