Default Thinkin of selling...

Was thinking about selling my 16 GTS with 6k miles and getting into something else, not sure what's next but was wondering if anyone here has experience on shipping. I live in Hawaii and was wondering how much of a hassle it would be to ship. Nothing overseas but to the Continental U.S. Any tips and suggestions will be helpful, like insurance and shippers etc. not too sure about selling locally is why I'm asking...super small market here.

recommend leaving that up to buyer. If something happens in shipping then it’s on you if you arrange it.

I am curious if the shipping cost will negate any increased sales price you may achieve vs selling locally.
If a continental USA buyer is paying for shipping he will have to get a better deal than what he could find locally.
Does your GTS have any options that you feel would make it particularly valuable vs other 16 GTS?

It's also a "16 GTS." They go quick if priced even reasonably. not many and people that want them are not rational.

I had a little side business selling sports cars and sent one to Denmark. I drove the car to the exporter, signed some papers, and that was it. They loaded it into a shipping container and had no issue. I think a reputable exporter knows how to ship a car to the mainland. Just spend some time on Google.

Just curious since way more goods are shipped to Hawaii than from Hawaii if there are better shipping rates outbound as the ships probably have empty space anyways?

Just curious .... What would you be considering as a replacement? Your current car is so amazing it's virtually irreplaceable with anything less than a GT3 if you value NA engines to almost any degree....

The next best replacement is the 991.2 GT3, if you can still get some allocation.

There's not really any direct substitute if you want rear seats. But if you don't need rear seats, and especially if manual is not a requirement (from the OP's car) then why not consider a 991.1 GT3? There seem to be a lot of them coming to market, with diligence and cash in hand you might catch a good deal.

991GT3 are great race car for the street but Hawaii roads are horrible and pot hole the size of sinkhole when rains. It would be punishing driving GT3 around town, even for short drive on the weekend. My only options at this point is GTS, TT, and 718 Spyder.
OP, you got email, once you gather enough information and price, shoot me an email. I also found another local 991.1GTS Cab nearly identical to your spec but no commitment to anyone yet. Still searching for the right car and options, but 718 Spyder with 4.0L GT3 engine is on my top list.
