305 rear tires instead of 295. Any issues?
Hello guys, I’m about to get a new set of tires for my 991.1 and thinking to get 245 fronts (same as original) and 305 rears (my original on turbo wheels are 295). Anyone done that and had any regrets? Also thinking of getting Michelin PSS not perilli, your feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

What size rims are you running ?

I am running 305 on my 2013 Cab S but that goes along with 8.5 x 20 rims in the front and 11 x 20 rims in the back.... have no idea what you have but you should find out and then decide.... btw - the sales brochure for my car showed the same width rims (11) on both the S and 4S but the S came with 295 and the 4S with 305's .. so it looks like if your rims are at least 11 you should be ok.... unless they have changed the recommendations for some reason ... at any rate I haven't had a problem.

I have a 991.1 S with the 20x11 wheels and run 305s without any problems. I track my car a lot and picked a little bit more push with the wider rear tires (as expected) that was easily dialed out with camber adjustments. The reason I went to 305s is because they are much more available than the 295s, I'll go through 6 to 7 sets of tires in a season.

See answers to the thread that I started. I am planning to add 5mm OEM spacers to counter the slight change in offset

I personally like the 255/305 better. I do have the Sport Technos, which are half an inch wider (9 & 11.5).
