Great post and thanks for the pictures. I am picking up my "T" April 3rd at the LAPEC. Mine has been in Houston for a month and is being trucked out to LA this week. It has been tough knowing the car has been so close and not just picking it up. I spend summers in Lake Tahoe and winters in Austin, Texas so I am driving from SoCal to Incline Village following delivery and leaving it there for the summer. I am really looking forward to the PEC experience. I will certainly try to post pictures and give some feedback to the experience.

This will be by 36th 911. First one in '73 was a 911T I drove in England while in the USAF so I am really nostalgic about the new arrival. I am not a collector but just a "dummy" that liked to trade cars every now and then. Bought some new and some pre-owned and there are a few I would love to have back! ('98 C2S traded for a '99 Carrera just off the top of my head)

My new 911T is Guards Red with the Black T interior with red accents. Went with manual, entry and drive, auto adjusting mirrors, LCA, BOSE, Chrono in Red and heated seat.

I have loved reading all your posts on the new T and look forward to seeing some of them at Rennsport Reunion in September.

Great thread and photos, BlackOptic!

Beautiful photography of your GT Silver T with lots of useful details.

Hoping to collect my Racing Yellow T on April 6th. It's currently en route from Germany to the U.K.

Why you did not collect it? No time to flight to Germany?

Great 911 T for sure. Wait my order confirmation and delivery date in order to flight to Germany.

Do we concur that throttle / rev matching only occurs on Sport and Sport+? As discussed here https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1042...-function.html

Great thread. Ordered mine today, PNH had 3 allocations and last week when I called they confirmed they had an opening but spec had to be closed by March 27th, so just in nick of time.
I have had grey, black and silver cars lately so going with white, LWB, full interior, personalized door sill "911 T"
Should be built in April with arrival date early June. Plan to install roll cage, and harness. Looking at tune, considering FVD or Fabspeed - any recommendation?

Btw, these LWBS are fitting just great. And I am 6'-3" / 215 lbs.

BlackOptic, I wish my photography skills were at your level! Great pics!

Had my car in this morning to have Car Connect activated (still trying to figure out why I can't use the Geo-fence) - and some bad news...minor cosmetic manufacturing flaw in my gauge cluster (which I noticed on delivery day) will trigger a replacement of the cluster assembly as it can't simply be repaired, the entire system must come out. The flaw is a defect in the acrylic material covering the oil pressure gauge - looks like a small "star crack" on the inside of the clear plastic.

Anyone ever had a gauge cluster replaced in a 991? What level of surgery is my car going to undergo? Looks like it will be a few weeks to get the Carrera T specific part.

cheers!

Sorry to hear that, 911-TOUR.

Any chance of a photo so others know what to look for when we pick up our Ts?

Cheers,

Simon

Initial Driving impressions. Only 65 miles in.
1) Love the short lever on the shifter. When the car is cold it changing gears (me) are a little rough... but, when it is warm the shifting is much smoother. (Plus, as I am re-learning how to drive a stick, I remember after a few moments to switch to Sports+). When I grow up, I'll take off the nanny's.
2) It's still winter around here... and there is a lot of grit still down on the road. And, man, you hear every ping of the rock on the rear fenders.
3) We've got some smooth highway surface. On *those* roads, the interior cabin is VERY refined, and quiet. Can't hear the engine cruising at 70-75mph in 6th or 7th. I could easily handle a conference call. Even with lightweight glass.
4) On the rough highway surfaces, road noise is loud. Hopefully (as 911-TOUR says) things will quiet down as the tires wear in.

Love. Love. Love it so far.

Again, for those wondering about the rear seat delete is like. here is what the back seat (or lack thereof) looks like. There are dimples where the attachment points would be... but it doesn't' look/feel like there is anything there. Same with the rear seatbelts.

It's a bit hard to photograph, as the camera wants to focus on the numbers ... it's the spot right above the numeral 1 below. The flaw is on the inside of the clear plastic that covers the gauge.
