Paint correction and PPF in South Florida
#3
I took mine almost 3H from home to Ryan @ Auto Paint Guard after a lot of research.
Ryanis the owner and he cares so much about how the job comes out and how satisfied the customer is.
He did a full rap on my white car, which is one of the hardest colors to do. He used one brand (my request) and after wrapping half the car, he calls me and says he isn’t so happy with the results and wanted to show me all brands one next to the other.
I get there and he has all 3 options on my car one next to the other. (He installs Xpel, SunTek and 3M)
I just find it very hard to find many professionals that really care about their work like Ryan did.
So id very strongly recommend using Auto Paint Guard if you can get your car to Tampa.
We did a full body wrap and ceramic coating on body, wheels and calipers.
By far the best results, best personal and best selection.
I was very worried about the results, I have seen some bad work on white cars that really had me worried. With the job they did you can’t tell it’s got PPF unless you really know where to look for it.
Agian, strongly recommend and a pleasure to work with people who care about what they do.

I used Auto Super Shield also, and while they did a pretty good job, I’ve seen some posts here where some companies in Southern California do unbelievable work in eliminating seams.
A couple of thoughts/recommendations:
Ask for thier best installer even if it means you need to wait longer to get it done.
I would ask about getting all of the seams tucked in, which I assume would require them to use a little more material and cost more.
On my car (which I since traded in and don’t have picks showing this) the film did not extend fully over the bottom of the front bumper, it was weird.
They did a great job on the hood and front fenders, but the passengers side mirror had a bubble, and you could see edges as the entire mirror does not get covered if you use the precut patterns (which is what I did), and in their defense, I did not inquire about getting all of the seams tucked in. They were able to get the bubble out, but the film ended up looking a little funny in that one spot.
Overall I was pleased, but if you looked in the right places you could tell it had a film.
I used Xpel Ultimate, you might want to check out some other posts as well as ask their opinion as to what film works best with your car color.
