Yep, it's a 991.2! I didn't bother waiting for COBB, especially since the ECU needs to be pulled anyway to unlock it for their tune. I'm going to enjoy it at this power level for a bit and let people experiment before I decide where to go next. People are already getting 540+ whp on these things.

I'm probably going to try to go as far as I can on pump gas and high flow cats. Not sure yet what path I need to go down from here.

Techart
510 WHP with just the Techart box seems pretty good? Anyone done this?

That's got to be crank. Also, I'm not big on piggyback tunes. I just replaced my X5M Dinan piggyback with a proper ECU tune, and it's worlds apart. I'll never do a piggyback again.

Yeah, not a fan of JB4 at all. I will most likely wait for COBB, as I like the ability to change back to stock. Also being so far across the ocean, I don't want to send my ECU anywhere. So I will have to wait.

I do like the look of the Vektor headers. But again have to wait for their release. I'm not a big fan of waiting LOL.

Did you see the posts from COBB saying that you need to send the ECU in to them to get unlocked before you can use the AccessPort on it? That's why I just decided to stop waiting and get it flashed locally. It may be a long wait if you don't want to pull your ECU.

Yeah, I was just reading now. M4's started that way, pulling the ECU for about 2 and a half years. Now they can do it with BM3. So no longer needs to be pulled. COBB will get it sorted hopefully.

I hope so, but I think having to send the ECU in to get it unlocked is a first for them so I'm not sure if they've just given up. I figure at some point the encryption on the ECUs is going to be too tough to be worth cracking.

Personally I'm not that patient. I only had 1700 miles on my GTS when I got it tuned. It needed that extra little bit of power. ☺️

There are authorised COBB dealers in Australia. I am OK drive in, pull out, crack, put back in, and tune with Access port. I am up for that if they will do it here. But I am not posting it across the water.

That makes it a lot more convenient! That's why I went with a local shop that could flash it in-house. Makes it so much more convenient.

I highly recommended doing it if you can, when they release their tune. It goes from fast and fun to bonkers and wild.

They don't have an option for GTS. The GTS has larger turbo's than the C or CS. I don't like piggies. I will wait for a flash.

Siriuks, just got my Rennchip, but have not had time to install it. I also plan to put my car on a Dyno for w and w/o Rennchip results.

I wanted to let you know that I learned from my reseller that the Rennchip boxes that end in the number "1" have the Bluetooth functionality. From the looks of it, your box serial number does not indicate that you have the Bluetooth capability.
