#1 Houndstooth LWBS in real use; clever/subtle inclusion of "Stout" (I see what you did there...)
#2 Art.
#3 A Carrera T, in use, in the snow.

And the winner is...#3—CamsPorsche!

Will PM you for an address!

From memory, front to back...

911 Carrera coupe
7MT transmission
Brewster Green
Black partial-leather interior
Dynamic headlights, bi-xenon
Front-axle lift
Carrera S 20-inch wheels in silver
PCCB
Power folding door mirrors
Sport Chrono Package
Voice control
Bose audio
Sport steering wheel
4-way Sport Seats Plus
Heated seats
Fire extinguisher
Smoking Package
Model designation delete
"Porsche" logo in Gloss Black

Changes
PPF for full front end, rockers
Sport PASM front lip
Euro sidemarkers
TechArt springs
DSC V3
Center console trim in black leather (shifter surround)

Always wanted a dark green 911, so the T wasn't an option.

Looks like Ingolstadt. By the way, the german word for Coat of Arms is Wappen.

I was thinking maybe it's from R Gruppe, but probably not.

Key with the Carrera has been subtle mods. It's a daily, it's under warranty, and my favorite kind of cars and mods are "more from less." I might be convinced to do springs (either the TechArts or a switch to H&Rs), DSC (done, and I do like it quite a lot), ARBs (maybe sharpen things up a bit), and a bump-steer correction (suspect this would be good after the lowering). Possibly a set of wheels, if the right ones come up, or I decide to have a set of Forgelines made. Maybe the right cat-back exhaust for a bit more bellow and bark. Possibly a T shifter. Maybe a bit less sound deadening. Ah yes...did you mention something about a slippery slope? Nice thing about all of the above is it's a day or two days of work and easily reversible.
I had all sorts of modifications in mind (including a T shifter) and then I got the car--base 991.2 Carrera 7MT with PCCBs (no Sport Chrono--old school). Seems perfect as she is, driving wise. Oh, and 000 is a wonderful "magazine."

God bless,
TT

Can't remember if you got a sunroof or not, Tom?

A friend has been scouring North American inventory for a Carrera/S/GTS/T with 4WSS+ or adaptive sport seats but no sunroof and a few desired options (he would like RAS, but isn't picky about transmission, liking both 7MT and PDK) and says that non-moonroof/"enthusiast optioned" 3.0-liter cars are vaporware. My gut says they've got to be out there in small qty, but maybe only with people who ordered them and who aren't likely to give them up. He was particularly surprised by the number of Ts with glass roofs and no RAS, as though the dealers all ordered them. Says the only exceptions are Ts with LWB and not much else (and he needs rear seats).

As to suspension, the only reason (imo, anyway) to change anything on a Carrera is aesthetics. For me, it's worth the minor compromises—but it's really too bad SPASM wasn't an option on the 991.2 as it was on the 991.1. There isn't much to complain about with these cars, however...they are both underrated and brilliant.

I see munich, wolfsburg, ingolstadt, stuttgart, and the california flag in the center
so my guess is it's maybe an old california PCA region crest
also, love 000 and have every issue read and neatly stacked for the next generation

Pete,

Not to turn this into a collectability thread or comment but this is exactly what we see in Canada as well. Oddly spec'd Carrera T's that go against the ethos of the car, particularly by dealers.

If I see any on resale they are either not RAS equipped or are PDK or bloated with a ton of options.

For example...a white T has sat at a local dealer for months as it has buckets, glass sunroof, lightweight glass delete and no RAS! Dealer spec'd!
