IPE on a 991.2 with PSE
Anyone on here have IPE on a 2017+ 991.2 with PSE?
have heard them on the GT3, 991.1 and Turbo but not on a 991.2.
Any insights from first experience would be greatly appreciated.

i have nothing nice to say about the new car sound. Many online videos of any car with ipe sound bad imo; due to the recording techniques..... in person it is perfect for me. Based on what they accomplished on the #1 cars, I'd trust them with yours.

Fair, I’m looking at them only based on their history and track record. But I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger on a system that is not cheap without even listening to it.
Hope someone here has them on a 991.2 or knows of someone.
Not sure why they wouldn’t post a video of that setup.

I personally wouldn't sub out the PSE(muffler section/catback section) for anything on a 991.2
Headers/bypass pipes or Headers/sport cats with PSE all day.
You don't really get much out of changing out the PSE muffler unless you're going full straight x pipe. Look at the design of the IPE muffler and the OEM PSE.. You're getting a similar baffle muffler. Highly doubt there's any HP gain out of it too. I'd put the money in changing out the headers/cats.. If not I'd go with an X pipe.

How much sound diff comes from:
headers?
sport cats?
muffler?
assuming you have 10 points, how would you rank each in terms of sound change?
headers = 0
sport cats = 8
muffler = 2
dpes they sound right?

Right, but what sound? On the 991.2 there's even no sound to be gained with just a catback..
For example here's a video of the AWE "switchpath" exhaust on a .2
If I were to play this video with my eyes closed I would tell you it's a stock 991.2 with PSE. There's almost no sound change.. In fact it sounds worse than the stock PSE with those poverty backfires in sport mode.

Here's a couple videos of headers/bypass pipes.. If it's too aggressive you can sub out for sport cats or keep stock manifolds. This setup sounds better and there are huge gains as well.

Never thought I’d say this, but - the Germans need to send some people across the Italian border (again) and kidnap a few Ferrari engineers. WTF is up with accentuating the sound of the turbine spinning up ? I read that Porsche did it on purpose, and it was a ‘feature’. God knows I love the sound of a turbine winding up, but it’s just ridiculous.
If Ferrari can build a turbocharged V8 that sounds great, then so can Porsche. Hopefully it happens on the 992
