Tracklist for Track Day
With the upcoming track season for us in the cold, I want to touch base with you guys what you think of a track selection to drive it on the track. I know some prefer to silence the stereo only hearing that engine but I do like some tunes.
My selection so far
Sabotage - beastie boys
Gasoline - audioslave
Vasoline- STP

Stereo should be off so that you can hear what’s going on, not just to hear the engine. You need to hear the tires, engine, brakes, officials and not be distracted by music.

Irrespective of the organizer's rules and common sense, there is no place for a distraction like music blasting on the track. Its not only your life that you a placing in jeopardy. I only hope that the OP was not serious.

My DE group broadcasts over the radio (FM), so if you have a radio, you want to have your radio tuned in to hear announcements from the track stewards. BTW, these broadcasts are great, as it's much safer to hear "off at Ricochet - turn yellow" and come round to Ricochet expecting a yellow than it is to not know of the flag until you reach the flag station.

Next folks will need both hands on the wheel, remove the gun rack and use a helmet
