Default 3 Weeks For A Service Appointment?

I just tried to schedule a service appointment with Porsche North Scottsdale, and they're telling me the next available appointment is 3 weeks away. Is this typical with Porsche?

Takes about that long IF you need a loaner, else it's pretty much a walk-in.
I'm using Porsche of Fairfield, CT as a reference.
Great service dept...

Bemo’s experience is similar to mine [locally]. They’ll for you in today if you can drop off or wait but ~3 weeks for a loaner.

Which service? If it's just an oil change, you could do it yourself and save some aggravation...

Not typical in Nashville, TN even if you want a loaner.

They can pull from a good number of loaners even from their Audi store next door.

Yes, I was in a few weeks ago for the Cayenne Camshaft Bolt Recall and my SA said they are booking 3 weeks out. Business is good, so they are very busy. This is when having a good relationship with your SA helps :-) I think Chandler can probably get you in sooner - call Dan Sheridan.

Isn't that standard operating procedure for troubleshooting rattles?

Step #1: If the problem presents during winter months, inform customer that no loaners are available for 3 weeks, at which point hopefully the weather will be warmer and the rattle can't be reproduced anymore.

Who was the SA at North Scottsdale? Rochelle is a bitch. Yeah I said it. F that bitch. They are so swamped, don't really care for you.

Hit up Dan @ Porsche Chandler. He almost always gets me in the same day or next day. When you actually pull up you'll get helped instead of standing around waiting for a schmuck like North Scottsdale. Chandler will go out of their way to solve all your problems.. Literally. Scottsdale will brush you off, tell you no, and will forget to perform checks/services.

Chandler sales.. Different story.

I haven't checked recently, but the last two times I tried to schedule service at Sonnen (Marin) Porsche it was at least 3 weeks out, too. I ended up having to go elsewhere since in both cases I was having something done before an HPDE (oil change, brake fluid flush) and I waited too long for their time frame...

Yes with Porsche of Scottsdale...has been my experience IF you're asking for a loaner then i was normally 2wks out min when I wanted to get my car in. Drop off and get it back when they are done much sooner. Also for some reason they seem to have a lot of resident and non-resident cars in there at all times for work. I remember seeing a 918 Sypder that the owner just left there on the lot plugged up and was told he would swoop by to get it when he was in town for a bit. Go figure...if I had one it would definitely NOT sit at the dealer's lot 24/7 even it I wasn't in town! LOL

Generally a week, ten days at most. One time I was told that if I didn't mind an Audi loaner, they'd get me in sooner.
