991.1 GTS owner, 6 months in
Hey folks,
I've been hanging out here for a few months now but never got an intro email in, so this is that. Say hello to my Carrera White Metallic 2016 GTS.
This is my first Porsche, but I'm no stranger to the brand. My dad had a 987 Boxster, 2014 991.1 S and a 2016 991.1S. He's got a Macan S now(getting hard for mom to bend down into the 911).
I first decided I need a Porsche after doing a Porsche Driving Experience at a local track. Despite already owning a McLaren 570S, I felt a bit of a void. Specifically, I wanted an NA motor with 3 pedals. While visiting a Porsche dealer with a buddy, I stumbled across this lovely lady. I was smitten once I heard her start up. I was blown away by the exhaust note as it sounded aftermarket. The rasp, the pops... Well I know I'm preaching to the choir here.
I've gone back and forth on mods. For a while I was thinking about going aggressive and getting the Vorsteiner wing and rear diffuser. I have since decided to retain it's natural beauty. To me, this car is a modern classic. I don't think it needs anymore aero or grip. I'm likely going to add some very subtle exterior mods to make it my own, and I'm looking to add a TechArt lift kit to it since it doesn't have the factory lift option. Aside from that one option, it's pretty decked out at $143K MSRP. I'll update the thread with some interior pictures tomorrow, but I'll leave you with a few more shots.

Congrats and welcome to the GTS club!
Curious how the .1 compares to the McLaren? Feel free to start a separate thread as your thoughts would be interesting.

Congrats and lucky you for finding this beaut with 3 pedals locally, assuming you are local.
I had to go nationwide for mine. Having seen one in Livermore I would've snatched it
