Hey everyone! Purchased a certified 2014 991 C4 PDK in November after previously owning a 2003 C4S manual for a few years. I've had the car for a couple of months and I'm beyond happy. I've been on a few trips to Road America and the Galena/Dubuque area... car has been perfect. The sport design wheel and the sport chrono are awesome. Love looking at them. I've been active on rennlist but not much in the 991 forums so I thought I'd say hello. Hello! Here are a few pictures. So far I've put on winter wheels and tires and a Spasm front lip. Looking forward to this forum!
Mirko

Thanks to everyone. Definitely love the 991! Soooooo refined. My 996 was more of a go kart this thing can be that or a refined GT car. Love it. I don't daily drive it (Chicago commutes are not fun) but my brother and I have been taking long/enjoyable drives to "decompress" a bit so we plan a route and spend a day enjoying our cars. Not easy finding roads within 2-3 hours of Chicago!

Some more snow pics...

Great looking car! Are those PCCB, aftermarket or just painted brakes?

Look too small for PCCB but what do i know

OP:
Snow tires? Brand?
White centering stripe on steering wheel: OEM? I like it, either way.
Picture 3: Is that a snow covered lake? Would it ever be drivable?
Congratulations!

thanks again everyone! Looking forward to some PCA events. Would love to do a group drive to Galena or somewhere similar.

To answer some questions previous owner did the wheel stripe (looks just ok) and had the calipers painted Porsche Acid Green... at first wasn't sure but I kind of like them now (especially with the black winter wheels) was thinking about getting different OEM wheels other the turbo ones for the spring/summer or perhaps powder coating them black. Idk yet.. winter tires are pirelli winter sottozero IIs, tires have been great in the snow, ice, and subzero temps. The frozen lake in the picture is actually the Mississippi River! It was so smooth and completely frozen. It was hard to see where the grass ended and the water started, kind of creepy actually... totally thought about some ice driving but definitely not on the river!

Count me in! I have never been but hear Galena has the best driving roads in IL.

Beautiful! Digging the painted SPASM lip. How’d you do it (shop or yourself) and how much did it run you?

Been wanting to do the same on mine, but being that my car is lowered on top of having PASM (already lower than standard height) I’m weary that it’ll make me even more paranoid about scraping, while at least being black plastic, I’m a little less **** about it.
