"It appears to have the PDK option..."

Looks like somebody didn't get the memo...

I haven't followed the T hype, but how "stripped-down" is it actually? Isn't it like 40 pounds or something? i.e. the difference in weight of half a tank of gas.

The T is all hype to me. If they included the S brakes then we have something to get really excited about.

I ordered mine in GT silver with the Carrera Sport wheels but I didnt delete the stripe. I figured I can remove it if I dont like it.
But my car is a ways off - May delivery...grrrr.
I still have time to change things and the only thing I still cant bring myself to do is get PCCB.....
Right now I am at $118K

For me its the ability to get the Buckets, Rear axle steering, and I like the agate grey accents.
The weight savings is minuscule but I like the concept.
I would prefer a GT3 Touring but that's not in the cards for me.
I figure the 911T will make a good pair with my 987 Spyder....

This is one thing I am very disappointed about. I want the S brakes badly for this car. Even if they kept them black, just give us the bigger size and 6 piston calipers in front...
That may be the first thing I change on my car if its a direct bolt on.

Got pics of others please add them here? Pete, for heavens sake, you sound like a smitten teenager in love!
What is the story with your base Carrera in PTS 'Oak Green Metallic' & what are you getting next? A Carrera T?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Deliveries begin...will be interesting to see how obvious the dealer spec'd cars are from the enthusiast spec'd cars. These two are obvious (I think).

Will mine be the first delivery with the OEM fire extinguisher (because, race car!) ... will be interesting to see!

Anyone can confirm if the PDLS headlight have black housing like the LED ones? The configurator shows it is but would be interested to see some real pictures.

Configurator does not render headlights correctly. Standard, non-PLDS headlights have silver upper "tacos" as seen in the first images in this thread. The $780 PLDS headlights (non-LED) look similar to the standard headlights but have the upper "taco" shell in black; their lower section is a mix of brightwork and black details; they retain a gray ring around their outer exterior edge (near the paint). The $780 PLDS do not have headlight washers or their nipples ahead of the headlights, starting in MY2018, I believe.

Thanks! I "think" I get the picture but still would love to see some real pic of it if anyone come across a newly delivered one!

The brakes appear really small on the T...correct?....also it doesn’t look like the rear fenders are as wide. I don’t know much about the T...but I’m sort of lost on why it’s in the line up of Carrera cars.
