None. They are all wheels now.

Thanks. But I’m not sure what that means. Would you please elaborate?

Detroit Wheel and Tire is a big supplier of Porsche OEM wheels. I suggest giving them a call.

They don’t know, as it turns out. So, I’m asking about the manufacturer (e.g., possibly Fuchs or BBS) that created and produce these rims for Porsche:

Not the integrator of the wheels, or the distrubor of OEM parts that sell the wheels. Thanks!

It is only possible to buy rims with 3 piece wheels. With one-piece wheels it is all, uh, one piece. There are no rims to buy, only wheels.

I still have no idea what you are talking about either.

The OP is asking who manufactures the GT3 wheels for Porsche.

He is just being a smart guy and being the grammar police because the term "rim" was used instead of "wheel". Wheel would be the proper term. I think everyone here is intelligent enough to understand what the OP was asking about without taking two opportunities to point it out. Don't know why people have to be like that so much on this forum. Just try and be helpful or move on.

I don't know the answer, but maybe call Suncoast and ask them? They tend to know their stuff and they sell them, so they should be able to tell you the manufacturer:

What he meant is wheels aren’t called rims unless they are 3 piece but it is definitely irrelevant to this post.

Sorry about the dissonance (if that’s the correct word...) in this thread about my misuse of the word “rim.” It’s a carryover from my motorcycle days, I suppose. Where a wheel is composed of a hub, spokes, rim and tire. Though, now I’m not sure how I would describe a car driving without tires...I saw a car run through a roadblock at high speed, over the spike strip, blowing all the tires to shreds, and driving on just it’s wheels? Whatever.

Anyway, Suncoast purchases the GT3 wheels via Porsche, and doesn’t have information on the “sub-manufacturer.”

So, the reason I’m so interested—in case it’s relevant, somehow, to others—is that I’d like to contact them (as you could with someone like BBS) and ask if I could order a set with different offsets for installation on a 991.1 TTS.

Cool idea. Best of luck. When you do find someone who can answer, please also ask if they know who produces the black forged centerlocks that come on the 991.2 GTS. I’d be interested in knowing. Likely the same manufacturer.

Maybe post your question in the GT3 forum and have one of them look at the inside of their wheel? Every wheel I've seen has some sort of stamp on the underside of the spoke indicating the manufacturer.

I'd love to hear how you make out with this but I seriously, seriously doubt you'll get any traction. The OEM manufacturer is under contract with Porsche to product huge volumes of vehicle specific wheels... there is zero incentive to put their Porsche contract at risk by making one set of Porsche specific wheels with different offsets for an individual buyer.

Suggest you look at Forgeline, HRE, BBS, etc as it will likely be less expensive and certainly less hassle...
