Not to offend anyone, but I loved Cobalt and hope they bring it back. A little less "look at me" than Sapphire IMO!

Man Porsche is overdue for some new colors for sure. I do love Agate but it's too common now especially on Macans

The 911 is not a classy car.

And yet most buyers insist on dressing the 911 in colors more suitable for classy cars, i.e., colors like grey, black and white and variants thereof. Or even blue.
What's a classy car? Here they are: https://jalopnik.com/5951140/whats-t...-you-can-drive. Porsche is not on this list.
The Porsche 911 is a flamboyant, in your face, sports car. IOW, the antithesis of a classy car.
And yet, most 911 buyers, as I've said, choose colors which either moderate that persona or eliminate it altogether.
I've always wondered what's behind this phenomenon.

Porsche exudes class in most models. I couldn't disagree more with you.

this must be a joke of sorts that I'm not getting? or judging from the article you linked... you are mistaking classic and classy?

The "introduction" Targa that Porsche brought to the Monterey Parade was stunning in Sapphire blue. I have seen several Targas in other colors and they just do not pop like the Sapphire Blue on that Targa..

+1. The 911 family of cars is so diverse that a 911 can be whatever you want it to be, from classy and understated to vibrant and extrovert!

My four Porsches so far have been Rhodium Silver, Platinum Silver, Carmine Red and Racing Yellow, so you can gauge my direction of travel on the Porsche colour chart spectrum!
