Photo request rear wheel and tire combo
I'm specifically on the hunt for photos of the following rim and tire sizes:
- 11.5" rim with 305/30 R20 tires - 12" rim with 305/30 R20 tires Please specify which brand and model tire please :) My goal is to understand whether or not/how the sidewalls bulge and how the rim guards/protectors influence how the tires fit visually on these wheel widths. |

https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...af3df7d1ad.png In my opinion a 12 inch width wheel is too narrow for a 305 to fit flush. If you take a look at the pic below the black C2S has 11.5 inch wheels with 305 sport cup 2 tires while the GT3 has stock 12 inch width on 305 Sport Cups. The C2S tires look much more flush compared to the GT3. In order for 12 inch width to fit flush you need a 315, but not many tires have these sizes in a 315/30/20. The GT3 RS has 12.5 inch wheels on 325, so the best fitment in my opinion is 305 for 11.5 inch wheel, 315 for 12 inch and 325 for 12.5. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...c13277cd63.png https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...bd07b462a0.png |

Yeah the 305 rear sections on an 11.5" rim seem more in the realm of what I'm looking for. I had that on my Turbo S and it looked better than the half inch wider rears on my current GTS. Maybe it's time to find a set of Turbo S rear centerlocks and powdercoat them black...

325/30/20 ( cup2) on 11.5 inch wheel.
This fits fine and doesnt bow out https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...7e9fabfd72.jpg |

that is probably your best option or go 325, it will have a nice beefy look. But you have to get a 255/35/20 front to compensate for the rolling diameter. I think with a 325/30/20 your only .7 off which should be fine. |

ive already upsized in the front to 255 so this all sounds good! 325s are hard to come by and all I see on tirerack are Toyo Proxes R888s think 335s might be a bit too beefy? |
What will too large a front-to-rear discrepancy cause issues with? PSM? ABS?

Interesting. That looks pretty good. Do you get any rubbing w the 325s? I'm trying to sort out the Cup2 sizes for this upcoming season myself. What's the front tire size/rim diameter you're running? Is this an AWD car?
