I received another message from Chstek that said they were doing more research to see if their unit works with the OEM camera. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow I'm ordering the Isudar one. Chstek said if I buy it and it doesn't work with the OEM camera they'd send me their camera for free but that's not what I want so we'll see what they say.

The Isudar unit looks great to me, and they have a lot of experience with Android Auto and CarPlay too. I'm impressed too with CHSTEK's responsiveness, but I agree - a free camera is a nice gesture, but you already have a camera. Please keep us posted on how this develops for you.

Wonder why Chstek told me they do not support oem cam?
If you do Isudar, are you going with 7 or 8 inch screen?

That is a tricky call isn't it? Personally, I'd go for the 7 inch, which is plenty big enough and has that row of buttons, which as well as being useful, contribute to the OEMness of the unit. IMO.

Yeah, after my "no ****" experience, I would go with the ***** on this go around.
The Isudar looks interesting. I vaguely recall that someone tried it and then removed it again.. It's in the earlier part of this thread I think so might be worth checking back. I might have misremembered though as when this thread started the dinosaurs were still roaming the earth!
Also are you sure it supports the OEM camera, looking at the ad I can't see that. It says..
Supports Rear View Camera Input
Support 720P AHD rear view camera. Picture more clear. （ Camera is not included)
Maybe I missed it, but good to be sure given this is your #1 priority
The only post I could find for Isudar head unit was this, but it is 2 years old. He had issues, but overall seemed to like it. It is from Cayenne Forum, PCM 3.1. Surprised the post did not garner more responses, questions, etc. I would hope this new HU is a whole lot better.
