991 Turbo wheels on 991.2 GTS

Will these wheels fit a 2018 991.2 GTS Cab?
I'm looking to swap for my CL black wheels that come on my build.
Keep in mind that my 2018 GTS will have a wide body rear.

thanks for the help/

The wheel pictured is from the front end of a 991.1 Turbo S. The dimensions are the same as your front wheels but the offset is slightly different. I don't recall the exact numbers but you can easily check on the Porsche website. The rear Turbo S wheels not only have a different offset than yours but they are 11.5 in wide rather than 12. You can make them fit but although your car has a wide body body, it is not as wide as a turbo.

Butt of a turbo is wider than a GTS. No - won't fit.

@9ELOVIN thank you.
Just got off the phone with PNA. It's crazy how you can get 5 diff answers talking to 5 diff people with Porsche.
So from what I understand is that my car will have 8.5/20 & 11/20 front&rear, while these are 9/20 & 11.5/20.
I'm no wheel expert and I have no idea if that would still work or not.
I just love the rims in a diff color than the tire, so I'm trying to get a forged aluminum CL that would fit on my car.

Whlie the Turbo is wider, the GTS 18 will also have a wide body and the wheels on the config from factory are listed as Turbo S wheels. No?

SBARacing 01-19-2018 04:26 PM

Is it it just called Turbo S wheels because of the design?

I'm sorry but this is straight wrong.

Short answer: YES THEY WILL 100% FIT AND WORK.

If the offsets are lower than your stock wheels they will poke out a little more. If the offsets are higher they will sink in more. 1-2mm won't really make a difference. 5mm+ will slightly.

See where it says "ET51"? That means its a 51mm offset. Anything higher than 51 will sink in more, anything lower than 51 pokes out more.

Lower offset doesn't hurt, it looks more aggressive.

If you like them, slap em on.

They're called Turbo S wheels because those are the exact wheel style that come on the Turbo S.

It may be harder to paint and get that forged aluminum and inner black, or at least just as expensive if you want to do it right.

Nino, thank you for you data points.

Here is some more data I collected from Porsche.

MYGTS vs. Turbo S
8.5 J x 20 RO 51 vs 9.0 J x 20 RO 51
11 J x 20 RO 59 vs 11.5 J x 20 RO 56

And these are the once I'm looking at:
Front Wheel: Part #: 991.362.162.34 Size: 9.0Jx 20" Offset: 51mm
Rear Wheel: Part #: 991-362-167.34 Size: 11.5Jx 20" Offset: 56mm

So it looks like most diff are minor, but the rear offset of 51 on mine and 56 on the once I'm looking at.

Does change anything or would fit still work?

Sorry but no. Your 991.2 GTS with the black CL wheels has 9' X 20" ET 51 fronts and 12" X 20" ET 63 rears. It's the Carrera S wheels that are thinner. You'll see that if you click on the info button to the right of the wheels pictured in the configuration picture above. I researched this to the Nth degree before getting my car last August. They Turbo S wheels you are considering are the 991.1 The GTS wheels areTurbo S style but the offset is not the same. The 991.1 Turbo S rears are 11.5" wide. (So were the 991.2, 2017 Turbo S rears). You can go to the parts department of your dealer and get all the exact specs. That's what I did and eventually kept my wheels. BTW, If your getting four wheel steering, correct fitment is especially important.

Are you sure about these numbers?
Porsche NA just emailed me a link to buy these for my car with the winter tires. It shows my car model and year and says the numbers I listed as 11/20 with 59.

Positive. Winter wheels are narrower. That is not to say you can't use the wheels in the summer.

The 991.2 Turbo S wheels are pretty darn close. I think they'd probably fit fine.

991.2 GTS
Forged "Turbo S III" one-piece center-lock alloy wheels with motorsport-derived spoke design
Black Satin finish with colored Porsche Crest
9 x 20 ET 51 with 245/35 ZR 20 tires (front)
12 x 20 ET 63 with 305/30 ZR 20 tires (rear)

Forged "Turbo S III" one-piece center-lock alloy wheels with motorsport-derived spoke design
Two tone finish with colored Porsche Crest

12 x 20 ET 56 with 305/30 ZR 20 tires (rear)

I'll add one more for that 991.1 Turbo S.
So it looks like while the 991.2 Turbo is very close, the 991.1 Turbo is diff in the following:
11.5 vs 12
56mm vs 63

While all have the exact same tire on them, how would that diff be translated to daily use?
Wider sicks out more with there since they are 56 vs my 63?

Did I get that right?
