Thanks, trips. Another vote in favour of PCCBs which I will almost certainly now be adding to the spec of my Racing Yellow Carrera T.
Cheers,

Hi Trips, I know you are not asking for any advice on your spec - did you consider getting the "Sports Seats Plus Backrest Shells in Leather"? I know it is a frivolously expensive option and adds no performance value but I chose that option with the same interior as yours (Black Sport-Tex & 18 way seats) and it really finishes off the interior nicely. I did ten years in my last 911 with the plastic-backed sports seats with a black interior and I thought they really looked unfinished - like something was left off. I am very happy with my choice to have it done in leather in my new 911 despite the outrageous cost - it looks like it should in such an expensive car.
As an added bonus when you have selected the Black Sport-Tex interior, any leather bits you add automatically come with the silver deviated/contrasting stitching that the rest of the interior comes with (don't select the "with Contrasting Stitching" or it makes you de-select the entire interior option...). The contrasting stitching shows up properly in the 3D/360 configurator.
Just a thought - since you don't seem very shy about clicking the option boxes!
Cheers!
John

Thanks for the input John! I did consider the leatherback option but started feeling guilty that I was checking too many boxes lol. That being said, I'm contemplating painting the seatbacks oak green! I think this would be a cool touch. I'm definitely drawn to the Sport Tex material, I think it gives the interior some depth and texture. Pretty cool too that it comes with the deviated stitching.

One of the last choices I made before my configuration locked was to make the seat backs leather. A little pricey of an option, but every time I see them I'm reassured it was money well spent. Much more elegant than the plastic backs.

Looks good! I loved Malachite, one of the premium colors on 987/997s. I came " " this close to ordering a 987S in Malachite over either Natural Brown or Cocoa full leather, then changed my mind and bought another (used) silver Turbo. Malachite is more silvery/blue-green than yellow/brown-green like Oak.

I believe oak green is what I saw on a widebody Carrera SC back in the day when I was a kid, and I remember thinking it was the coolest car and the coolest color I'd ever seen. I've been contemplating getting a PTS car in this color or arena red for nostalgic reasons (and also because they are amazing colors). Congrats!!
