I thought it would be a fun accessory that gives the interior a little pop. Also something I can pretty easily change out if I didn't like it.

I remember hating Sepia Brown Porsches as a kid, and have still never gotten over that hump. Didn't like green Porsches much when I was growing up, either.
Then I saw a dialed Copper Brown Metallic 911 SC (on Cork, no less...) and it was like my world opened up. Ever since then, I have really dug many of Porsche's browns—some of the old dark browns, Macadamia, Mahogany, Anthracite Brown, and the list goes on. They seem super tasteful to me, especially when the rest of the car is right.
They did offer Mahogany on the 991.2 for a while, as seen here:

Had it still been available for 2018, I might be driving a Mahogany 991.2...

The guy in charge of the company I used to work for had a 997 in that brown- it was the first time I saw a brown tone a car and really liked it. The greens have always appealed to me though, ever since Crayola with the Sea green and fluorescent green...

I’d really consider ordering an Irish Green or Porsche Racing Green car. Oak green looks like a really nice option too. I once saw a 997 Turbo in Dark Olice Metallic. It was great looking.

Props, brother, on a beautiful spec! Sent you a PM over FB with some top-of-mind thoughts. Can’t wait to see this car and hoping your trip home from ATL brings you through PHL.

Also overlooked here is Forest Green Metallic from the Carrera 3.2/964/993 era. Another great one, and one I almost went with as well. Darker and richer than Oak...
Don't like the blue in Rainforest, but love Malachite.

That Oak Green GTS looks awesome, trips! Congrats on a great build!
Did you agonise for long over the PCCBs or was it a no brainer for you?
Cheers,
Simon

Thanks David, looking forwards to the trip and will definitely try and make it through your neighborhood on my way home!

Thanks Simon! In my opinion, the PCCB are aesthetically and functionally better than the standard steel brakes. So if money is not an issue, I'd definitely go for them without a doubt.
