remove/plug roof wart?
Unless I'm mistaken, the roof wart for the 991 is just for satellite radio, correct? HD radio, GPS etc is not located in the wart? I've tried to follow what is is from various info, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Has anyone tried removing and plugging the wart? Maybe Bumperplugs would make something like this:

Thoughts? I could care less for satellite radio (terrible low bitrate quality even if you like the programming) and of course don't like the wart. (visible in my avatar pic)

Curious about this as well. I know that when I ordered my Spyder it was possible to spec the car a certain way to avoid the roof wart. In that case it was only there for cross marketing purposes between Porsche and Sirius sat radio. The wart is not quite as offensive on the 991.2, but would still like to see it GONE.

There's an old thread on this, but good luck finding with search. The verdict as I recall was some licensing deal such that you order Bose or Burmester you get the bump thrown in for free. Because, contracts. And yeah there is a plug. So for whatever that costs you can have a smaller bump to look at.
