I spoke with him and he was very adamant and unprofessional in his enthusiasm about not wanting to remove my existing film. Even referenced several recent instances where he damaged paint removing as if to sell me on going with another provider. But I have heard several recommendations for his work.

I also have a 2014 Porsche 911 in Agate Grey Metallic. It was four years old last November. It's been a great car.

I forgot to mention that I live in Sandy Springs about half-way between two Porsche dealers. I've bought from both of them. The service at both dealerships is excellent.

We should do an Atlanta drive one day.

That's good to hear! And, yes, I definitely would like to meet up with a group drive in the area before long

I’m up for it. Grew up in Sandy Springs and now live in East Cobb. Gave my Father the Porsche driving experience for Christmas and plan on doing that when temperatures warm up.

Me and a couple buddies from work went over to PEC ATL and raced the sims. It was a good time. Check that out as well.
I did the driving experience in May. What a blast. Pushed me over the edge deciding to buy!

The comment about it possibly damaging paint upon removal was particularly off-putting for me...

I am not understanding your issue with this. It is a real possibility the paint could be damaged. The installer needs to be up front about that before taking a job on. Particularly pulling off film that he did not install himself. Do you expect him not to disclose that possibility to you and then do the job? What would your reaction be if that happened and when you went back to pick up your car there was paint damage? Would you not be blaming him at that point?

I did not mean to touch a nerve. I have no experience with paint films and simply found it surprising it could cause damage.
