Thank you, but those threads appear to be focused on either already-built cars on the lot or other models (C4S, GTS). Looking for input from folks who have recently negotiated for a C2 or C2S.

About three months ago I negotiated 5% off a 2018 Carrera base. Most dealers offered 4-5% off.

Ended up with a used 2017 with 1,300 miles at 20% off MSRP.

5% is not too difficult to get for a custom build. Probably more on cars in the lot, especially 2017 models.

Ordered a C2S in September. 6% off. FWIW I had a deal reached with a very small dealer close to my home town and had 6% in writing from them. Turned out they could not get an allocation in a reasonable time frame. Took that paper work to a large dealer in Atlanta and a SA that was recommended from a friend, He matched the 6% off but told me had I come in off the street with no deal from another dealer I would not have got 6% off. Maybe I would have only gotten 4-5%.

I got 5% off on a custom 991.2 C4 plus the $3000 European Delivery fee the dealer has to pay. Exact same deal I got on my Boxster 4 years ago. I thought I got a fantastic deal but I know the dealer very well and bought other Porsches from him. Relationships matter a lot.

He also had to call in a favor from another dealership to get the C4 allocation. Not many folks want this car so it is in low demand and not many allocations.
