its my favorite as well. And you can top it up with best service. Have been working with Alec, even before purchasing it, I have to say that Alec has been fantastic.

If you prefer the quad exhaust over the new centered bi-exhaust, then by all means I would spec the car without PSE if you are planning on an aftermarket exhaust. Most aftermarket exhaust companies have options for PSE and non-PSE cars. But keep in mind that you will not have the OEM exhaust flap switch and will have to use the aftermarket close/open valve system switches if they are offered.
In my case, all 991.2 S in my market comes with PSE and I didnt ask for it. It sounds ok but it could be better I guess
Perhaps not satisfied with stock pse sound so they opt to upgrade again?
I’m just thinking, its a bit wasteful to spend for pse then buy an aftermarket exhaust again? Or am I missing something?

I'm curious, I noticed that many of the 991.2 S/4S/GTS aftermarket exhausts are meant as replacement for the PSE. Or perhaps, it is my impression that many owners has PSE in their cars yet bought an aftermarket exhaust later on.
But I understand that PSE is actually an option customers have to pay for. So why not spec a non PSE car and then buy an aftermarket exhaust later? Or did I misunderstand the situation? Any benefits in having PSE replaced to aftermarket compared to non PSE?
In my country, we do not get to spec our cars as there is only one Porsche dealer. It just happened that the 991.2 Carreras sold to us have PSE included specced by the dealer.

A lot of customers go with PSE and then purchase an aftermarket exhaust in order to retain the valves. If you were to spec a car without PSE, it is possible to add valves down the road but it is not very cost effective.

I decided to pull the trigger on the Kline exhaust with 100 cell cats. Haven’t gotten time to drive the car much after install but it’s definitely louder in a glorious way. Full review and sound clips coming soon!
