Do it!!
You won't regret going GTS...
Huge fan of my new GTS.
Although I'm going through withdrawals here in the midwest w/ it sitting up on a lift.
Praying for 40+ degree temps so I can take it for a mid-season winter run.

I had the same car lift when I lived in Winnipeg, I had a Z3 over top my 997 and it always scared me LOL.......I remember what it was like waiting for nice weather and sand free roads

Nice! I got a weenie 1500 off list and free fish and chips for me and my GF. I have to say the buying experience was the best ever at Vancouver Porsche (But I did have to pull in one of my higher up contacts in the same auto group which undoubtedly helped)

Congrats on your build! You will absolutely love the car, as I have been greatly enjoying my 991.2 GTS manual. I ordered in March of this year from Porsche Vancouver, and it was delivered in August. No discount unfortunately so congrats on getting $1500 and the fish and chips! I agree the whole buying experience was amazing. Enjoy!

I drove a 718 and the things I loved the most was the sound. Engine sounded to me just as it is; small but powerful. Loved the "kit car" sound. made it feel more like it was my own special thing. Taste, what can you say?

Guys, how many of you got the front axle lift?
Just placed an order for my 991.2 GTS Cab last week.
Was hard to find an allocation but found one not too far away.
It seems like the hot states have more allocations than the rest.
I'm just not sure about 2 add-on, front axle lift and the Bose system. I'm not a load music driver, i like to listen to the car better than the stereo
thoughts?
I have to lock my config this week before it's too late.
Happy new year fellow 911 owners.

As for Bose, mine came with it and I would get it, but I love music so I'd probably spend money on the Burmester if I had specced it. With the top up the car is pretty quiet so the stereo is nice to have. With the top down you have to crank up the volume a bit so it's nice to have a decent stereo.

I specced FAL on my GTS when I ordered it. I use it a lot even though in most cases I probably don’t need to. By using it, it takes worry out of situations that might otherwise cause a scrape.

Three Wheelin'
Unless you have lots of speed bumps and/or steep driveways, skip the FAL. The GTS Cab comes with "standard" PASM that sits 10mm higher than Sport PASM on the coupes.
The cabin of the 991.2 is relatively quite so standard audio system works just fine for a non-audiophile like me...your experience may vary.

I ordered FAL with my GTS, and I spec'd standard PASM. I wanted a lower probability of scraping, and I wanted the marginally more comfortable ride with standard PASM. I don't think I will notice the 10 mm higher ride height either by appearance or by performance on the track. It's difficult to be certain with these types of options, because no dealer will have every permutation Porsche offers. But, on the other hand, I don't think there are any bad configurations.
Delivery some time in February, I have been told.

I have a 991.2 GTS. I ordered the FAL and I have definitely needed it on some nasty transitions here in NY. I had it on my Panamera before this and found it useful. If in doubt, get it. I think upgrading to the Bose is a sure thing also. I am not an audiophile, so the Burmeister isn't necessary for me, but I'm glad to have at least gone for the mid-range sound system.
I got a new indoor cover for Christmas. I have winter wheels/tires on the car, but the weather has been nasty in NY lately and there are miles of salt on the roads, so for now, my GTS stays under its blanky...sorry for the bright backlighting!
Happy New Year everyone.
