Anyone dynoed 991?

Sticky hears a proper engine and exhaust and goes HAM in a thread that wasn’t even dissing his precious “beast.”
Talk about inferiority complex.
“Hey, here are some helpful graphs of stock vs modded WHP.” -> “WOW, your car sounds amazing, thanks for the info! ->” “YOU WANNA RUN BRO?! LET’S LINE EM UP UR CAR IS SO SLOW MY .2 IS FAST!”

Show me again where the stock car is making 450 WHP?

What I'm mocking you for is repeatedly claiming that a stock 991.2 is making 450 WHP. Because it isn't. You are repeatedly comparing a modded Car (tuned 991.2) to a stock one (991.1). That is what they do in the Civic forums. Where this asinine argument belongs.

Base 991.2's are putting down ~350 whp and ~325 wtq on a Mustang. Kindly educate yourself.
Do you not read the forum? Do you not look at graphs? Here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/9992...l#post14671845
That 991.2 not only is making 150+ more horsepower at the wheels it has almost 200 lb-ft more torque at the wheels
Sounds like the 991.2 actually has the bite to back up its bark.
Cute numbers on this 991.1 Carrera S though. Adorable, really.

So you are comparing a tuned .2 to a stock .1. Which is asinine. Of course the tuned .2 has a lot more power. It had damn well better!

Sticky - how's the supercharged NA V8 M3?
Why do you keep it in the garage since the 991.2 is so much better? Do tell.

Someone tell him his car is the fastest, and sounds like the BEST vacuum. Sticky seems a little down this holiday season.

I don't know what's better, the latest episode of Shameless or this thread...

It is literally impossible for your car to make more power than a 991.2 S. You're deluding yourself. Go ahead and post that overlay as no 991.2 S has ever dyno'd 310 whp on a Mustang.
What part of the 991.2 base making more power and torque than the 991.1 S do you not understand? The graph is staring you in the face.
The performance difference is so large it's a joke.
Tell you what. ANY 991.1 S that wants a run it can be arranged. Let me know. Let's get it on video.

This dyno was used properly - to measure scientific results before and after a change. The size of the peak numbers is irrelevant.
I'm not interested in drag racing but I'd take you up on VIR or Kershaw lap times I have access to a 3.4 911 with the only mods being pads and fluids - I can bring that and you can bring your dad's 991.2 - you should get it tuned too. Afterwords we can have a footrace and arm wrestle.

I'm just a guy sharing real world Porsche info. The purpose of this forum is to educate as I'd hate for people to read your fanboy posts that offer an agenda over information.
Fortunately, most people can read and decide for themselves when the proper information supported factually is provided instead of opinion

I for one would love to read information that you originated. Go do something in real life and share that documentation. Maybe tell your dad it's for school if he won't let you actually drive his car.

and insert comment about #1 owners going into a #2 thread and testifying superiority.... in a thread that started as asking a question and added much value to the community on tips for getting the car into dyno mode and the tools needed to do so.... way down hill. Maybe we need a rage free dyno thread?
