992 will have a digital cluster gauge. For that alone, I'd rather get a 991.2.

I doubt the 999 will even have an engine. a motor yes, but an engine no.

matters little as the Porsche Marketers will still slap a 911 badge on it and try to convince everyone its like ours

that's still happening over on the 996 side. Silly old men late for colorectal screening need to pretend too.

I remember spy shots showing an analog tach but digital speedo and other gauges.

What's the big deal. If the speedo doesn't fog up it's not a real 911, or what?

Some of you guys crack me up... I for one want the new technology, I want the all digital, faster car via turbo and/or electric help, etc. It is the way of the future. Would I still like the sound of the NA, yes.... any super car now days is going to already have it, Porsche is actually behind the curve.

I'm specifically holding out on my order for the new RR Sport because it is all digital, the dash, the center console, and the controls on the steering wheel, all touch screen. Basically its like an interactive iphone and the graphics look great..

You can’t predict what will cause people to reject a new model. There are 997 owners who will never buy a 991 because it has an electronic parking brake. I guess that pulling the brake lever is so satisfying for some, the very idea of pushing a button to activate the brake is inconceivable.

Good god, one of the best aesthetic improvements to vehicles across the spectrum over the past few years has been the deletion of a big ***** between the seats.

I'm just glad the parking brake on this car isn't automatically applied. My Golf R does it automatically and I have to mentally remind myself to take the brake off if I know the car will be sitting for a while.

It kinda depends on what you're driving now. Life is short.
